Luke Gordon Joins the Rip Curl Family

Rip Curl would like to welcome 13-year-old super grom Luke Gordon to the Rip Curl family. Gordon first caught Rip Curl's eye after his dominating performance in last November's GromSearch National Final held at Upper Trestles, CA. Gordon was a double finalist, as he was named the 2012 Rip Curl GromSearch National Champion in the Boy's 12 & under division.

Gordon, who resides in Pawley's Island, South Carolina, is a 3-time NSSA Open Boys East Coast Champion. Last weekend, just one day after joining the Rip Curl program, Gordon dominated the field at the Surfing America Prime, New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Gordon won both the Under 14 and Under 16 divisions.

Rip Curl is extremely excited to add Gordon to an already powerful juniors squad which includes National standouts; Taylor Clark, Pat Curren, and Colin Deveze.
