The Rip Curl Pro - the world's longest running and most prestigious professional surfing contest - will take place in Australia's surfing home of Torquay from March 30 to April 10 this year.
The ASP World Tour's best 45 male surfers, two Rip Curl Wildcards and one local Victorian Wildcard from the Victoria Place To Be Trials will be at Bells over Easter to compete the year's second ASP World Tour contest, but only one deserved winner will get their hands on the prized Bell trophy.
ASP World Champions Mick Fanning and defending champion Joel Parkinson will be leading the local charge, but international superstars Kelly Slater, Andy Irons and Adriano de Souza will be doing their best to take the Bell out of Australia this year.
The ASP Women's World Tour surfers will also be at Bells this Easter, as will the world's hottest 16-year-old junior talent, who will be in town competing the international final of the Rip Curl GromSearch Series.
In tow with the action on the water, the festival will also heat up on land, with a music festival over the Easter long weekend, plenty of parties and other activities for visitors to Victoria's Surf Coast during that period.
The Rip Curl Pro is the only professional sporting event allowed to be held on Easter Friday in Australia, so there is no other place to be for sport fans!
